Motorcycle delivery drivers in Dubai are being reminded to stick to the law after motorists complained of illegal overtaking during Ramadan.

Drivers have called on the police to increase fines to deter deliverymen on motorcyclists from reckless endangerment.

Col Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of Dubai Traffic Police, warned motorcyclists against illegal overtaking to avoid being issued tickets and having their motorcycles impounded, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National.
